S18 - Blues Future [WB3]

2021-05-03

Future prospects

Looking at our bank of prospects it looks like the desert with only 1 player in the bank and this is normal with all the youngster we have playing on our pro and the ones developing in the farm. In the past we traded lots of picks even the first pick to put a roster we like on the ice.

So a defense  has one job to do and it is stoping the ennemies, keep the puck as far as possible from our net but as prospect we have nothing coming up in the pro, everyone we have are going to be farm level. we have 4 defense in our system, Casey Borer, Danny Syvret, Derek Joslin and Nathan McIver they will never play in the VHL. All these players are now in our farm.

This season new created player were Martin Karsum, Chris Bourque and David Desharnais, they are all life farm players but David Desharnais might become a depth player.

The only prospect we have is Derek Joslin Defense, he was drafted in season 16 when we drafted him we knew he was going to be a pro player one of these day, he will go to camp and get AP. He might become an average defense but it will take years. He will be nothing but a defensive d-man.

The new created prospect in our farm.

Martins Karsums right winger was drafted in season 17 when we drafted him we knew he was going to be a farm player forever, he will not go to camp it would be a waste of AP. He might become an average farm right winger but I doubt it.

Chris Bourque left winger was drafted in season 15 when we drafted him we knew he was going to be a farm player forever, he will not go to camp it would be a waste of AP. He might become an average farm right winger but I doubt it.

David Desharnais center was drafted by another team in season 16 we traded to get him, we knew he was going to be a pro player later, he will go to camp and get  AP when come time to do it. He will not become an an elite center.

We do not have any pick in the 2008 draft but this will change as next year as our team is set and we can keep the picks now for later, the only way picks will be dealt away is if I get an offer I can refuse.
