s23 - The Future of Parisé and Seabrook [WB8]

The Leafs are aiming for Stanley Cup win this year. The competition will be strong again. The team has an excellent core and great depth. However, none of them will be free agents. What will be the future for these players.? Among them, two stand out! Zach Parise and defenseman Brent Seabrook.

Zach Parisé I'm not necessarily looking to trade him but I'm open to quality offers if you're looking for this type of player. Ideally, I would be looking for a similar player. To discuss if you are interested. would be very surprising to see the star striker leave. The team is counting on him to attack GM Trudeau is always listening but it would be VERY difficult to replace such a player. When you have a scorer of his calibre in his ranks who excels on both sides of the ice, it doesn't costThe Minnesota native has a total of 520 pts in 590 regular season games, and 56 pts in the playoffs. But as they say, nothing is impossible and if an INTERESTING offer arrives on the table we will listen.

On Seabrook's side, the team would be interested in keeping him but we can not put aside the salary cap. Will Seabrook attract interest from a few rosters will he still be with the team after the trade deadline? Unless the Leafs get their hands onGood elements, he will remain in the team for the playoffs. Seabrook was acquired early this season in a trade sending Dan Girardi to the Black Hawks. 

Forward Jay McClement along with defensemen Derek Joslin and Matt Carle is also one of those who could attract the attention of general managers ahead of the deadline.
