Philadelphia 4 VS 1 Saint-Louis

St-Louis Mississouri - This was the first meeting between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Blue Machine this season, Philly was one of the top roster of the league last season and it was difficult for the Blues to compete with that kind of team.The Blue machine was ready for that game as they wanted to add to their stats. Philly played a great defensive game and this is what you want to do when you meet the Blues if you want a chance to win, this time it was enough and the Flyers won.

Blues took the lead 1-0 with a goal from Andrew Cassels his third of the season assist by Dave Tomlinson and Al Iafrate at 1:57

Flyers tied the game 1-1 with a goal from Maarc Savard his first of the season assist by Nathan Dempsey and Claude Lemieux at 3:59

Flyers increased their lead 2-1 with a goal from Nathan Dempsey his second of the season assist by Nolan Pratt and Sergei Fedorov  at 3:12

Flyers increased their lead 3-1 with a goal from Simon Wheeldon his second of the season assist by Marek Malik and Marc Savard  at 11:36 on a power play

Flyers increased their lead 4-1 with a goal from Nathan Dempsey his third of the season assist by Simon Wheeldon and Nolan Pratt at 14:28 on a power play.

Nathan Dempsy (Phi) 2 goals 1 assist were the best players.

Flyers had thirty eight shots and Raycroft stopped thirty four of them for a saving percentage of .895 he had a so so game tonight and we lost over the Flyers. Blues only had twenty four shots and he stopped  twenty three on Hedberg for a saving percentage of .958, he won the game for the Flyers.

St-Louis 2 VS 6 Winnipeg

St-Louis Mississouri - This was the first meeting between the Winnipeg Jets and the Blue Machine this season. Winnipeg is one of the top roster of the league and it is difficult for the Blues to compete with that kind of team, Blues couldn't score and lost the game. The Blue machine made some changed to their roster, Winnipeg shut down Prospal line and this is what you have to do when you meet the Blues if you want to keep the score close or win.

Jets tied the game 1-1 with a goal from Markus Naslund his fifth of the season assist by Kevin Todd at 5:28 on a power play

Jets took the lead 2-1 with a goal from Michal Peca his second of the season assist by Stephane Richer and Eric Brewer at 8:43

Dave Thomlinsson (Stl) 2 goals was the best player.

We tried new goalie Raycroft and he is not ready for the big league.

The Winnipeg Jets was over the defence all night long so Raycroft had to be great, Winnipeg had fourty one shots Raycroft stopped thirty five of them for a saving percentage of .854 he was so so and  could not win the game. Winnipeg where too much for the Blues, we only had twenty six shots and Anderson stopped twenty four of them for a saving percentage of .923 that was a great game for him.

 

Saint-Louis 2 VS 6 San-Jose

St-Louis Mississouri - This was the first time of the season the Sharks and the Blues were on the same ice together, Sharks has one of the good team of the league so this was a great challenge and Blue machine could not keep up with the Sharks, also Blues number one goalie was back in the net after an injury. So as we expected we lost the game and the team was on holiday for a second straight game. As we could saw in the games we are worst then last season and we still have work to do to bring the Blues to the elite level we want. We are almost there and we are surely in the right track to get there..

Sharks tied the game at 2 all with a goal from Brendan Morrow his third of the season assist by Bob Werenka and Kyle Calder at 14:39 on a power play

Sharks took the lead 3-2 with a goal from Tim Sweeney his eight of the season assist by Bob Werenka and Johan Garpenlov at 17:53 on a power play

Sharks inceased their lead 4-2 with a goal from Pavol Demitra his ten of the season assist by Bryan Fogarty and Alain Nesreddine at 2:26

Sharks inceased their lead 5-2 with a goal from Pavol Demitra  his eleven of the season assist by Johan Garpenlov at 3:16.

Sharks inceased their lead 6-2 with a goal from Andrei Zyuzin  his second of the season assist by Jonathan Cheechoo and Kyle Calder at 9:07

Pavol Demitra and Tim Sweeney (SJ) was the best player.

The San Jose Sharks had thirty five shots and Hasek stopped twenty nine shots for a saving percentage of .829 this was a bad game and we could not win. Blues attack tried to helped but they were going against a great defensive team. Patrick Lalime  was good against us he stopped twenty of twenty two shots for a saving percentage of .909 for the win.

 

Blues 2 VS 1 Philadelphia

St-Louis Mississouri - This was the second meeting this week between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Blue Machine, Philly was one of the top roster of the league last season and it was difficult for the Blues to compete with that kind of team but this season nobody scares the Blues as they filled their roster with great veterans. The Blue machine was ready for that game as they wanted to get a win to even the serie so far

Dominik Hasek (Stl) was the best player with .952

Flyers had twenty one shots Hasek stopped twenty of them for a saving percentage of .952 he had an awesome game tonight so we won. Blues had twenty four shots and Hillier stopped twennty two of them for a saving percentage of .917. this was a close challenge, Blues did what they had to do and they scored jus enough goals to win this one.

 

Chicago 2 VS 3

Saint-Louis

St-Louis Mississouri - This was the second matchup this season between the Blackhawks and the Blues,  We won the first matchup five-three so we want to use the same defensive plan in the second matchup. We tried to play a close game and we won the game. It was a close game and finally this was a win three-two, Hawks have been a team we always have a though time to beat in the past. The Blue machine made some trade but not sure it pays off yet.

Vincent Damphousse (Stl) was the best players with 2 goals.

The Blackhawks had fifteen shots on our nets and Hasek stopped thirteen of them for a saving percentage of .867 he did not deserve that win tonight, he played like a rookie, what a shame. Curtis Joseph (Chi) had twenty five shots and stopped twenty two of them for a saving percentage of .880 he did not deserve to win either tonight.

 

Winnipeg 3 VS 2 St-Louis

St-Louis Mississouri - This was the second meeting between the Jets and the Blues, Jets has one of the great team in the league for many years and this year is no exception, so the Blue machine has to jump on the ice with instinct of killer in the eyes to be in the game right to the end. We lost the first match up 6 - 2 and we did not showed up for that game, that was a nightmare. We want to be sure this won't happened again and every one played a great game,it was a close one but we still lose.
